The De Pere Library was built in the 1930’s in a tudor style to look like a cozy stone cottage. It’s walls are made of limestone, its roof of slate and its doors of wood. The building most recently housed the Comedy City and Venture Theatre in it, but has been vacant for several months. Below, the front of the building is on the left and its court yard is on the right.
Nell & Associates bought the building and renovated it to become their new business location. On May 16, Rick Nell plans to move from their current location at 400 Reid Street to to the renovated library at 380 Main Ave.
Rick has hired De Pere Landscape Associates to landscape the property. I will post pictures of the progress as it develops, so keep watching, or share it to your social media or click the orange RSS to get updates e-mailed to you.
